In addition to our Cheder (see under Education), we provide a range of entertaining and educational programmes for the children of our community.
There are children’s services every Shabbat and on High Holydays and festivals, led by Rebbetzin Alli and volunteers from the community.
Festivals like Purim, Succot and Chanukah are marked with hugely popular and enjoyable parties for children of all ages, from toddlers to teens. Our communal Seder features activities specially tailored to the children who attend.
For the very young, Rebbetzin Alli runs “Mummy and Me”, a group for mothers and their little ones who get together for play and chat and Jewish-centred activities. For details, please contact: rebbetzin@stalbanssynagogue.org.uk
